Erminia Roybal, age 83, was granted her angel wings on Thursday, December 1, 2022.  She passed away surrounded by her family.  She was born April 19, 1939 in Chaperito, New Mexico to the late Eugenio Apodaca and Josifita Parson.

Erminia was preceded in death by her husband: Isaias Roybal, parents: Eugenio Apodaca and Josifita Parson; son-in-law: Ruben Silva; brothers: Tony Apodaca, Salvador Parson, Valentin Parson and special cousin: Veronica Ogas.  She is survived by her daughter: Mabel Silva; Son: Frank Roybal; Grandchildren: Denise and husband Vikram, Devon and husband Jesus, Frank Roybal Jr., Phelisha Dimas, and Joshua Roybal.  Great-grandchildren:  Nikole, Ajay, Vijay, Laila and Ziarah.  Sisters and brothers:  Virginia and husband Arturo Roybal, Elsie Parson, Emily Parson, Enrique Apodaca, Anselmo Apodaca, and Luis Parson.  Numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.  She also leaves behind her trusty companion-her rambunctious little dog Emaya.

Erminia was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend.  She went by the name Minnie.  She loved to clean and cook for her family.  She was resilient and never stopped living in the face of adversity.  She will be sorely missed by her family.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, December 13, 2022 and 10:00 am at CornerStone Church with Pastor Mark Saiz as celebrant.  Interment will take place at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM with the following serving as casket bearers:  Harvey Roybal, Jody Roybal, Alfred Marquez, Frank Roybal Jr., Joshua Roybal and Nikole Lujan.  Honorary casket bearers will be all remaining grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
