Ernestina J. Gonzales passed away February 16th 2025 at the age of 95. She was a home maker and worked as a foster grandparent for 15 years. She loved to embroider, making blankets, and do jigsaw puzzles. She loved all of her grandchildren and visiting with family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents Paublita and Margarito Sandoval, her husband Manuel Lorenzo Gonzales and her son Peter Gonzales.

She survived by her children Prescilla Gonzales-Hanson, Manuel J. Gonzales and wife Darlene, Frank Gonzales, Elizabeth Gonzales, Ted Gonzales, her 10 grandchildren 10 great grandchildren and one great, great grandchild.

A Rosary will be held at 7pm Tuesday February 25th, 2025. A Mass will be held at 9am Wednesday, February 26th with both services to be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father Rob Yaksich as celebrant. Funeral Procession will leave from Rogers Mortuary at 1pm on February 26th, 2025 leading to her final resting place at Santa Fe National Cemetery in Santa Fe, New Mexico at 2:30pm. Serving as pallbearers: Robert Armijo, Larry Romero, Joe Duran, Paul Martinez, Michael Gonzales, Shawn Tino Gonzales, Charles (Tolo) Martinez, and Kenny Martinez.
