Ernie Vigil, 38 formerly of Chimayo, presently resided in Las Vegas, New Mexico. Passed away on September 23, 2024. He is preceded in death by his father Corpentino (Corpy) Vigil Jr., Grandfather Corpentino Vigil Sr., Grandmother Guadalupe Vigil, Step-Grandmother Florida Vigil, Grandparents Policarpio and Alice Archuleta. Aunt Mary Louise Romero Uncles Larry Archuleta, Nelson, Wally, Gerald and Mark Vigil. God-Father Charlie Martinez.

Ernie is survived by his wife Justina Vigil, Son Esteban Silvas (Taylin Baker), Daughters Kelly, Jenny and Jade Vigil. His mother Darlean Urban, Pops Joe Robert Urban. Stepsisters, Nadine Carter (Ronald), Cheryl Hutto (Patrick), Ariel Urban (Ryan), Stepbrothers Alejandro Urban (Lori) and Andy Urban. In-Laws Joe Arellanes (Emily), Diane Lopez (Robert), Brother- in- laws Lawrence Arellanes and Steve Patron, Sister-in-law Emma Patron. God Daughter Daiyah Baca. God-Mother Gloria Martinez, God-Sister Tebols Casados and God-Brother Monick Martinez. Many uncles, aunts, cousins, nephews, nieces and friends that will miss him dearly.

Ernie will always be remembered by his unshakeable love for his son and beautiful daughters. He was a hardworking man, self-employed and working to receive his construction/plumbing license.

Rosary will be held on Friday October 4, 2024, at 6 pm at Rogers Mortuary 600 Reynolds Ave. Las Vegas, NM 87701. Mass and Funeral will be at the Holy Family Parish 1440 Private Drive Chimayo, NM 87522 on October 12, 2024, at 2pm.
