Eugene "Gene" Armijo, age 61, passed away on May 1, 2025 at his home in Los Hueros, NM. He was born on July 10, 1963.

Gene is preceded in death by his father Bernardo Armijo, his brother Matthew Armijo and maternal grandparents Alfredo and Maclovia Fernandez.

Gene is survived by his Mother and Step-father: Mary Grace and Orlando Sanchez; Children: Samantha and Juanito Armijo; Sister and Brothers: Bernie Salazar, Theodore "Jody" Armijo, George Armijo, Robert Armijo, John Sanchez and Adam Sanchez, Grandchildren: Dexter Armijo, Riley Armijo, Kaleb Medina Armijo and Alexis Drussel Armijo. and numerous other extended family members.

Gene was a loving and kind soul. Gene loved music of all genres and always wanted to play DJ. Gene enjoyed football and was a New England Patriots fan. Gene was loved by his family and close friends and will be missed forever.

Rosary service will be recited on Thursday, May 8, 2025 at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 1:00pm both services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church in Ocate, NM. Interment will follow at San Juan Bautista Cemetery in Los Hueros, NM with the following serving as pallbearers Brothers: Theodore "Jody" Armijo, John Sanchez, Adam Sanchez  Cousins: Jamie Martinez, Marquise Martinez, Anthony Martinez, Azariah Martinez and Gabriel Branchal.
