Felix Salazar age, 30 a resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away on Friday, May 6, 2022 in Las Vegas, NM.

He was born on September 21, 1991 to Delfino Salazar and Hilda Tarango in Carlsbad, NM.

Felix enjoyed working on cars, he had a passion for auto body work and painting cars in hopes of one day opening up his own shop. He enjoyed cooking, going for rides, listening to music, spending time with his wife and kids. His kids meant the world to him. He was a diehard Denver Broncos fan. He enjoyed watching football, basketball, and being outdoors. He was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, cousin & friend and he will be truly missed!

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandmother: Georgia Salazar; brother: Cesar Tarango.

Felix is survived by his wife: Lucy Tafoya; children: Daniel Salazar, Eliana Salazar and Santiago Salazar all of Las Vegas, NM; father: Delfino Salazar (Dionne) of Las Vegas, NM; mother: Hilda Tarango of Juarez Mexico; sister: Elsie Salazar of Albuquerque, NM; mother and father in law: Lorraine and Rudy Tafoya of Las Vegas, NM; maternal grandmother: Irene Vasquez of Las Vegas, NM; niece Alysha Encinias of Albuquerque, NM; nephew: Michael Encinias of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister-in-law: Lorinda Maes of Las Vegas, NM; brother-in-law: Rudy Tafoya (Teya) of Albuquerque, NM; sister's-in-law: Angelica Tafoya (Tamara) and "Anz" Herrera(Logan) of Albuquerque, NM; numerous: other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.

Rosary service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 7:00pm funeral mass will be on Friday, May 13, 2022 at 9:00am both services will be at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM.

Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Las Vegas , NM with the following serving as Pallbearers Reyes Ruiz, Michael Encinias, Charles Gallegos, Jose Pepe Tarango Vasquez, Kenny Tarango and Leo Montoya.
