Filadelfio "Phil" Zamora a resident of El Truquillo, NM passed away, Monday, September 18, 2023. Phil was born to Jose Federico Zamora and Ester Sisneros Zamora on October 13, 1943, in El Truquillo, NM. Phil left at the age of 20 and lived in Susanville, California for the majority of his life. Phil worked at the BLM, Fred Money Construction, and ran his leather shop. He retired and moved back to his beloved hometown of Mora in March of 2018. Phil had a passion of working on leather, creating belts, working on, and fixing saddles.

Phil is survived by his brother and sisters Eloy Zamora, Laura Wilkins, Ida Mora (Alex), Mary Ann Pena, Virginia Chavez, Diana Gonzales, Ruby Montoya (Jimmy), and Corrina Romero (Fred). Special niece Sandra Lucero (Eric), great niece Jessica Lucero, and numerous other nieces and nephews. His California family Leslie Cook, Kevin Camacho, and Jamie Ruiz.

Phil is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Gilbert, Nazario, Johnny, Jack, sisters Dolores, Ezdella, Maria Luz, Helen, and special nephew Aaron Lucero

A rosary will be recited on Monday, September 25th at 7 p.m. at St. Gertrude Church in Mora, NM. Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, September 26th at 10 a.m. at St. Gertrude Church with Father Jim Mulligan S.O.L.T as celebrant.

Cremation will follow services and burial will be at a later date.
