Flora Evelyn Sanchez, a resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico, went to be with our Lord on October 10, 2026. She was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico, on July 31, 1952, to Antonio and Valerie Roybal. Flora was preceded in death by her parents, Antonio and Valerie Roybal; her brothers, David Roybal, Carlos Roybal, and Rudy Roybal; her sister, Carmela Montoya; and her beloved son, David Sanchez. She is survived by her husband, Jose Luis Sanchez; her son, Michael Roybal, and his wife, Traci; and her grandson, Zakk Roybal. Chase Carter and granddaughter Catie Carter. She is also survived by Georgi Montaño and her grandchildren, David Sanchez, Kaylee Baca, Savannah Sanchez, Jose Juan Sanchez, Frances Sanchez, and Johni Sanchez. Her great-grandchildren include Amelia Sanchez, Monti Benton, and soon-to-arrive Flora Sanchez. Nephew Anthony Montoya, Niece Sandra Montoya, nephew Jeff Montoya, Niece Karen Montoya, Tessa Roybal, and beloved Nephew Tonio Roybal. Flora was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished spending time with her husband, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She greatly enjoyed her animals, loved her trips to the store, and enjoyed visiting and talking with her friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 21, 2026 at 7:00pm, funeral mass will be conducted on Thursday, October 22, 2026 at 10:00am both services will be conducted at Immaculate Conception Church. Interment will follow at Los Vigiles Cemetery in Los Vigiles, NM with the following serving as Pallbearers: Michael Roybal, David Sanchez, Jose Juan Sanchez, Zakk Roybal, Michael Rodarte and Dennis Ortiz.
