Frances Lisenbee, born January 19, 1930 entered eternal rest on December 06, 2024.

Fran was born in Watrous, NM and lived there and in Springer, NM before her parents moved the family to Las Vegas, NM. She graduated from Immaculate Conception School.

Fran was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She had seven children, eight grandchildren, and six great grandchildren, who lovingly called her 'great mama'.

She is survived by her brother, Robert Salazar, children: Phyllis Taylor (Robert), Roberta Lisenbee, Carla Rubio, Michael Lisenbee (Andrea), Alta Rubio, Truva Armijo (Joseph), daughter-in-law, Gabriella Romero.Grandchildren Samuel (Danya), Lisa (Eddie), Stefanie, Julian (Felicia), Geoffrey (Stephany) Matthew (Maria), Sean (Diamond), Alycia (Collin). Her great grandchildren, Thomas, James, Hattie, Grayson, Arabella and Annalyse. Many nieces and nephews and many good friends.

Preceding her in death are her parents, Perfecto Sr. and Aurelia Salazar, husband, Burton Lisenbee, son, Rob Lisenbee, son-in-law Rodolfo Rubio. Sisters, Julia, Fina, Dora, Lila, Maria, and Stella, and her brothers Perry and Barney.

Fran enjoyed playing golf, going for walks and traveling. She retired from Las Vegas City Schools and spent the rest of her time with her family. She was known for her kindness and generosity. Great mama will truly be missed.

Cremation has taken place and rosary will be recited on Sunday, January 5, 2025 at 4:00pm. Funeral mass will be conducted on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 9:00am both services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church with Father Dennis Garcia as celebrant. Burial of cremains will follow at Masonic Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM.
