With a great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and aunt, Francine J. Romero. Francine passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She was born in Denver Colorado March 8, 1961.

Growing up Francine lived in Colorado, Illinois, New Mexico and California. She settled in Las Vegas, NM where she raised her family. Francine "Fran" as she was known by her friends and family will be missed for always joking and laughing being the life of the party. Fran loved cooking and caring for those she loved. Fran will be remembered by her family and friends for her kind loving sprit always saying what's on her mind and loving a good laugh.

Francine is survived by her daughters, Eileen Escamilla and Miranda Pacheco; son, Ruben Martinez; mother, Josie Scott; sisters, Lanette Romero and Donna Chavez; brother, Junior Padilla; boyfriend Mark Pacheco; granddaughters, Savannah Herrera and Samantha Sanchez along with many more grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, and numerous family members in Colorado and California.

Family and friends are invited to join the family for a viewing on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm at Rogers Mortuary Chapel, in Las Vegas, NM.

A Funeral Liturgy will be held on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM. Cremation will follow and interment will take place at a later date.
