Frank Barela, 67,a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico was called home on Saturday, July 27, 2024. He was born on February 8, 1957 to Luis Barela and Matilde Roybal-Barela.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents Luis and Matilde; brothers, Victor, Richard, and Anthony Barela; sisters, Connie Barela, Anna Vasquez, Pauline Witit, and Liz Barela.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister Pablita Rosalie Barela of Denver, Colorado, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Services will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church beginning at 9:00 a.m. with a Rosary, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, with interment following at San Jose Cemetery in Las Vegas, New Mexico.
