Georgia Claudette Norman passed on February 27, 2026 in her sleep at home in Watrous, NM. Claudette was born on December 7, 1945 in Eagletown, Oklahoma to Denmon & Mildred McElroy. Claudette was the oldest of three children. She is preceded in death by her parents, Denmon & Mildred McElroy, husband of 60 years Chester Norman, and son Denley Norman. She is survived by her sons: Arlyn Norman (Mary Jo) of Dacoma, Oklahoma and Bryan Norman (Gretchen) of Pine Bluffs, Wyoming; daughter Jinger Kueffer (Lyle) of Watrous, NM; daughter-in-law Lisa Norman of Buffalo, WY; sister Emily Norman (Charlie) of Las Vegas, NM, brother Mike McElroy (Chris) of Parma, Idaho. Nine grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, and many cousins, nieces, & nephews.

Claudette was a Park Ranger at Ft. Union National Monument for 19 years. She was a second degree black belt in Karate, played basketball in the Senior Olympics in Las Vegas, NM. She loved her flower gardens and birds.

It was Claudette's wishes that each and every person that knew and loved her to remember her in their own way.

Celebration of Life will be held at the Valmora Gym on March 21, 2026 at 10:00 am.
