Obituary

Gerald Adolfo Garduño, 71, of Las Vegas, died  August 24, 2022, Bloomfield, NM. He was born on April 23, 1951, to Adolfo Garduño and Rosine Garduño in Las Vegas.

Gerald attended West Las Vegas High School, and enlisted in the United States Army serving during the Vietnam Conflict as Specialist 4.  After his discharge from the Army he worked in Construction as a General Contractor, a Mechanic, and a Welder. He was an avid wood sculptor and life long Dallas Cowboy fan.

Gerald is survived by his sons: Cruz (Robin) and Antonio (Deedra); grandchildren Amber Fekete, Mariah, Micah, Jaden, Sara, Mateo, Emma, Austin Vaughn; great-granddaughter Melanie Eldridge; mother of his children Yolanda Garduño;  siblings Louella Rodriguez (Mac), Wilfred (Geneva), Kathy, Maria Alvarez; nieces Doreen, Victoria, Andrea, Sarah; nephews Carlos, Diego, Lawrence.

He was preceded in death by his parents Adolfo and Rosine; brothers Lawrence and Armando.

Rosary will be September 7, 2022 @ 1:30 P.M. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church,

Funeral mass will be held immediately after rosary.

Interment will be Friday, September 9, 2022 @ 9:30 AM at Santa Fe National Cemetery with military honors in Santa Fe, New Mexico.
