Longtime resident Geronimo "Jerry" Trujillo, born March 21, 1945 in Las Vegas, NM passed away on November 19, 2023 surrounded by his loving family.

Jerry worked with various construction companies and eventually retired from the District 4 New Mexico State Highway Department. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and sports fan. He was a diehard Raiders fan and enjoyed watching all sports along with supporting local teams. He also participated in softball leagues well into his 50's. He had many friends and was always willing to lend a helping hand and would literally give his shirt off his back. He will truly be missed by all who knew him but especially by his family and friends.

Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Maria (Theresa) Trujillo, parents Amelia and Malaquias Trujillo; brothers Malaquias Trujillo Jr. and wife Lucy, Jose Cleofas Trujillo, Leodoro Trujillo, and Adelado Trujillo; sisters Mercy Quintana, Ruth (Cuca) and husband Christian Pacheco, and Dorothy and husband Fred Allemand, brother-in-law Ismael (Mel) Gonzales, brother-in-law Richard Gutierrez, as well as 17 nephews and 3 nieces.

Jerry is survived by his sons and daughters Gerald Trujillo, Fernando Trujillo, Anthony Trujillo, Denise Lucero and husband David, Tania Osegueda and husband Manuel.

Grandchildren; Daisy Ramos, Angelica Lucero, Melissa Caraballo, Daniel Lucero, Jaileen Hilliard, Dustin Hilliard, Briana Trujillo, Tatiana Trujillo, Isaiah Trujillo, Imarah Trujillo, and Aaron Trujillo.

Great grandchildren; Asher, Zaylee, Alayah, Jasper, Alyssa, Zachariah, Jordan, Ilijah, Isaac, Serenity, Gabriel, Avianna, Christian, Caden, and Cruse.

He is also survived by his siblings; Silvia Gonzales, Dolores (Eloy) Romero, Mary (Fred) Gutierrez, Olivia Gutierrez, Leo (Dorothy) Trujillo, Patsy (Luis) Jaquez, and Ronnie (Martha) Trujillo along with many other family members and friends.

Services for both Jerry and Theresa will be conducted on Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Rogers Mortuary Chapel. Burial immediately to follow at the Watrous Cemetery. Reception will be held at Tequilas Bar and Grill in Las Vegas, NM following burial.
