Our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, Gloria Roman, was a woman of deep faith, unwavering love, and remarkable kindness. Her greatest devotion was to the Lord Jesus Christ, and she faithfully shared her faith with family, friends, neighbors, and all those whose lives she touched. A true evangelist at heart, Gloria was always ready to offer encouragement, prayer, and the message of God's love.

She loved her family beyond measure and took immense pride in her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Her love extended not only to people but also to the many animals she cherished throughout her life. Gloria was a loyal and devoted friend who treasured the relationships she built and nurtured over the years.

Gloria held a special love for her hometown of Las Vegas, New Mexico, and for her ranch in Buena Vista, places that brought her great joy and countless cherished memories. She was deeply proud of her heritage and often shared stories of her parents, grandparents, and siblings, celebrating their accomplishments and preserving the treasured family history she held so dear.

An educated woman, hardworking individual, and devoted caregiver, Gloria spent her life serving others with compassion and generosity. She was a lifelong reader of Scripture and found strength, comfort, and guidance in her Catholic faith. She faithfully attended Mass whenever possible and, when unable to be there in person, never missed watching Mass on television.

Known for her warm and outgoing personality, Gloria never met a stranger. She had a special gift for making others feel welcome, valued, and loved. She enjoyed fashion, took pride in her appearance, and carried herself with grace, confidence, and dignity.

Gloria's legacy is one of faith, love, family, friendship, hard work, and service to others. She will be remembered for the stories she shared, the lives she touched, the faith she lived, and the love she gave so freely. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alfredo Garcia; her mother, Elitea Garcia; and her beloved husband, Ruben Roman.

Gloria is survived by her son, Anthony Roman and wife Alma; daughter, Anna Matlick and husband David; and son, Robert Roman. She also leaves behind her four cherished grandchildren, Robby Farrar, Amanda Eddleman, Emily Eddleman, and Marc Anthony Roman, and her three beloved great-grandchildren, Safina, Warren, and Ayva.

A Rosary will be prayed at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church in Las Vegas, New Mexico, on Tuesday, August 11, at 6:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church on Wednesday, August 12, at 9:00 a.m., with burial to follow at Mount Calvary Cemetery.

The family extends their heartfelt gratitude for the prayers, love, and support they have received during this difficult time. They look forward to gathering with family and friends to celebrate Gloria's life and honor the lasting legacy she leaves behind.
