Guadalupe Billy Joe Lucero, 67 a resident of Mineral Hill for many years, a special place for him that he called "My Mountain".

Sadly Billy passed away on February 24, 2026.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents Horacio Lucero Sr. and Pita Lucero, also his brothers Robert Lucero and Horacio Lucero Jr and his beloved niece Mary Ann Dela Rosa.

He is survived by his children Lisa Marie his beloved daughter, Willie his hunting buddy and Double LL partner, Jeff for his knowledge and talent in baseball. He loved each of his children with every bit of his heart! He is also survived by his beloved granddaughter Amiya Lueras. Billy is also survived by 3 special sisters Olympia Trujillo, Anna Lucero and Janie Hudgeons, brother –in-law Fred Hudgeons. He is also survived by many special nieces and nephews that he loved dearly and very proud of each one.

A special shout out to Al De La Rosa. Billy was an artist and woodworker by trade. He built many special gifts for family members throughout his life.

He will be loved and missed forever, Billy was a lifetime fan of the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys.

Funeral Liturgy will be on Monday, March 9, 2026 at 11:00am at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM.
