Guillermo "Willie" Padilla

Guillermo Padilla 93, passed away at home on August 9, 2022.

He was born El Ancon, NM on February 8, 1929 to Severo Padilla and Manuelita Dimas. He is preceded in death by his parents Severo Padilla and Manuelita Dimas, his wife Tomasita Hurtado-Padilla, Brothers Serifico Padilla,Nicolas Padilla, Pablo Padilla, Adam Padilla, Timoteo Padilla, Sisters Eumelia Flores, Gregoria Sandoval, Valeria Lucero, Carmen Chavez, infant sister Felipe Padilla and Grandson Michael Padilla.

He is survived by his sons Cruz Padilla Jr., Richard Padilla (Irene), Daughters Marcella Padilla (Richard), Orelia Padilla, Linda Padilla (Roman), Helen Lovato (Joe), Son Andy Padilla (Barbara), Grandchildren Theresa, Joshua, James, Olivia, Freddie (Valerie), Jesse, Fran (Antonio), Ruby, John, Tracy (Frank), Amanda (Tomas), Bobby (Natalie), Kimberly (Lonnie), Andrew, Denise, Desarie (Dillan), He had 21 Great-grandchildren, and 4 Great-Great Grandchildren, his brother Perfecto Padilla (Art), special niece Paula Lucas (Tony) and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Prayer Service will be on Tuesday August 16, 2022 at 7 p.m. at the Church of Christ. at 53 Mountain View Dr. Las Vegas, NM 87701.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Wednesday August 17, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. at the Church of Christ at 53 Mountain View Drive. Las Vegas, NM 87701 with Pastor Leroy Aragon as Celebrant.

Interment will follow at El Ancon Cemetery in El Ancon, NM. The following will be serving as Pallbearers Marcos Solano, Bobby Padilla, Andrew Padilla, Jesse Esquibel, Freddie Esquibel, and John Orozco.
