Ignacio Palomino, age 84 passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022 at his home in Las Vegas, NM.

Ignacio was loving and caring to all. He gave his shirt of his back to anyone in need. He was the life of the family. Ignacio was a jack of all trades. He was the tio everyone called for help. He loved his guitar and singing and dancing. Ignacio would ride his petal bike around town and enjoy the beautiful days.

Ignacio loved all his nieces and nephews but his heart had very special place for Madeline (Nena/ Maddy) they were always together even the very end.  His other niece he held close to him was Angela (Angie). Angela and her husband B.J cared for him for many years until the very end.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Valentine Palomino and Margarita Padilla Palomino; son: Ernest Ortega; brothers: Seferino, Carlos, Jesus and Isidro Palomino; sisters: Frutas Palomino and Elosia Gonzales; nephews: Christy Russell, Alfred Sanchez, Anthony Sanchez, James Palomino and Larry Valerio.

Ignacio is survived by his brother: Guadalupe Palomino; nieces: Madeline Sanchez, Rose (Raymond) Muniz, Teresa Palomino, Kathy Goodson, Julie Quintana, Angela Pacheco (B.J) , Charlene Chavez, Maria Chavez (Ray); special family friend: Antoinette Lopez who helped care for him, Eloysa Lopez and Savannah and Jasmin Sanchez; nephews: Richard Russell, Anthony Russell, Richard Palomino, Daniel Palomino, Albert Sanchez (Berna), Andrew Sanchez, Alex Pacheco, Jordan Pacheco, Isaiah Sanchez, Elijah Sanchez, Andrew Sanchez Jr. Daniel Chavez; numerous: other relatives and friends.

Rosary service will be recited on Monday, September 12, 2022 at 7:00pm, funeral mass be conducted on Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 9:00am at both services will be held at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM with Father George V. Salazar as celebrant.

Pallbearers will be Angela Pacheco, B.J. Pacheco, Alex Pacheco, Richard Palomino, Albert Sanchez, Savannah Sanchez, Isiah Sanchez and Elijah Sanchez.
