The loving soul of Irene Lopez was set free to heaven on August 15, 2024 at the young age of 62.

Irene was born on April 12, 1962 in Grants, NM. She preceded in death by her father Bauldelio Lopez, mother Felicitas Benetiz, brothers Junior, Jerry, Antonio and Bernal. Irene leaves to cherish her loving memory to her family, mom, Margaret, brothers Rick (Margie), Raymond, and sister Margerie, the father of her children, John, children Roger (Alisha), Dayna (Jude), Johnathan (Jessica) and Nelly (Hector), 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren that she loved dearly.

Irene loved spending time with family and friends, laughing and having a good time. She was always up for a good time. She was a loving and caring person, devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She enjoyed her time most surrounded by her grandkids. She loved cooking and sharing those meals with loved ones. Reflecting her Native American roots, Irene created dreamcatchers for those she cherished in her life. She loved reading her bible and prayed for those in need.

The celebration of life will be a private ceremony, remembering Irene in the presence of her family and close friends.
