It is with deep sorrow that we announce Isaac Gold Jr., 80, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away on January 14, 2026. He was born on November 14, 1945, to his parents Isaac Gold and Sofia Montano Gold.

Junior was a truck driver by trade and worked for Martinez Oil and Gas for many years and before working for Rocky Road Construction. He was a devoted and hard worker, someone that could be counted on by his bosses and coworkers. He loved his family very much and even though they lived apart he kept in touch through his short quick phone calls or visits.

Isaac was a very kind and generous person who always helped anyone in need. He loved riding around on his side by side and visiting as many people as he could even if it was for 5 minutes. If he wasn't visiting you in person, he was calling you on the phone. He loved hearing about the successes of his family and was eager to brag about them. He had a special knack for making people feel very special to him and was loved by many people. He made everyone feel like they were his favorite and he had much love for all his family. He touched the lives of many, and his memory will be forever in our hearts. He was a lifelong catholic and was a parishioner at Our Lady of Sorrows Church.

Junior is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers Steve, Orlando, Gilbert, Bobby and Frank Gold and his sisters, Marylou Maestas, and Gloria Benavidez.

He is survived by his four sons, Paul (Lisa) Gold, Gary (Melissa) Gold, Rodney (Lavonne)Gold and Dennis, (Jaimie) Gold, his grandchildren, Josue Gold, Aliandra Gold, Alyssa(Byron) Laweka, Derek (Arissa) Gold, Sarah (Marcus) Lopez, Kailey Voerding, Kyle Voerding, Karissa Gold, and Jacinda Gold along with 14 great grandchildren, his brothers, Louie Gold, Tony Gold, and Nash (Elaine) Gold, his sisters Grace (Manuel) Valencia and Dolores(Bobby) Ortega and adopted sister MaryAnn Gold, and many nephews and nieces.

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday January 27, 2026, at Our Lady of Sorrows Church with Father Rob Yaksich as Celebrant. The rosary will begin at 1:30 pm followed by the sacrifice of the mass. Burial services will be at San Jose Cemetery immediately following the mass. Pallbearers for the services are: Joey Gallegos, Nash Gold, Marty Valencia, Orlando Gold Jr., Kenneth Gold, Frank Gold Jr., Charlie Gold, and Tony Gold.   Honorary pall bearers will be: Martin Valencia, Marvin Valencia, Joe Martinez, Gilbert "Bo" Gold, and Michael Benavidez.

Arrangements are made under the direction of Rogers Mortuary in Las Vegas, and the family would like to thank them for their kindness and professionalism during this hard time.  The family would also like to express their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.

The family would also appreciate masses to be offered for the repose of the soul of Isaac in lieu of flowers, however if you still wish to donate flowers, flower donations can be sent to Our Lady of Sorrows Church on the day of services at 403 Valencia St, Las Vegas, NM 87701
