With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Isaac Benjie Vasquez, 34 of Chacon, NM, a beloved father, brother and son. He was called home to his resting place with our Lord Jesus Christ on June 9th, 2023. Isaac was born on June 9, 1989 to Alfred Vasquez & Laura Maes.

Isaac had a loving heart, he will always be remembered by his laugh and mischievous smile. He never failed to bring happiness to each and every one of our lives. He always expressed his love for his children and nieces.

Isaac is preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Vasquez, maternal great-grandparents Daniel Maes & Annie Martinez, paternal great-grandparents Refugio & Pedro Martinez.

Isaac is survived by his daughters; Evany Vasquez (Tori Gonzales) and Amerae & Krista Vasquez (Jamie Lovato). Parents; Alfred Vasquez (Misty), and Laura Maes. Sister, Candace Vasquez, Brother, Cody Vasquez & Wife Sonya Vasquez. Goddaughter, Sarah Vasquez and Nieces; Aleah Hernandez & Isabella Vasquez. He is also survived by both maternal/paternal grandparents, many aunts, uncles and cousins all of which he loved very much.

A Rosary will be recited by Los Hermanos de Nuestro Padre Jesús on Sunday, June 18, 2023 at 7:00pm at St. Gertrude's Church. Funeral Mass will take place on Monday, June 19, 2023 at 10:00am at St. Gertrude's Church with Fr. Paul Grala S.O.L.T as celebrant.

Interment will follow at the Chacon Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as Pallbearers: Angelo Vasquez, Daniel Hodges, Mark Erickson, Allen Vasquez, Manuel Bernal and Thomas Martinez. Honorary Pallbearers will be Amerae Vasquez, Krista Vasquez, Evany Vasquez, Aleah Hernandez, Sarah Vasquez & Isabella Vasquez.
