Jane "GI Jane" Montano was called home on April 6, 2023.
Jane was born September 24, 1959 to Lilia Crespin and Florencio Armijo in Las Vegas, NM.
She was a lifelong resident of Las Vegas and an employee of West Las Vegas High School for over 22 years.
Jane is preceded in death by her father Florencio Armijo, mother Lilia Crespin, daughter Samantha Saiz, brothers Jerry Crespin and Leroy "Carro" Armijo.
She is survived by her beloved grandson Jared Saiz (Liz), sisters Grace Hooten, Cecilia Crespin, and numerous nieces, nephews, family members and very close friends.
A public viewing will be held on Thursday, April 13th at Rogers Mortuary in Las Vegas, NM from 3:00-5:00pm. Rosary services will be recited Tuesday, April 18th at 9:00am. Funeral services will follow at 10:00am with both services to be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM with Father Agustin Henderson as celebrant. Interment will follow at Saint Anthony's Cemetery. Urn bearers: Jared Saiz, Adrian Gallegos, Anthony Lovato, JD Yara, and Ralph Montano.
