In Loving Memory of Jenny Mora

Jenny Mora, age 94, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of love, kindness, and cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Jenny was a loving spouse, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Throughout her life, she devoted herself to caring for her family and creating a warm and loving home. A homemaker for many years, Jenny later continued her nurturing spirit through her work as a Foster Grandmother in the schools, where she shared her kindness, patience, and caring nature with the younger generation.

Jenny found joy in the simple blessings of life. She loved cooking for her family, spending time outdoors, listening to Spanish music, planting flowers, and gathering with the people who meant the most to her. Her family was at the center of her world, and she found happiness in the time they spent together. She was known for her loving heart, generous spirit, and wonderful sense of humor. Her warmth and caring nature made her special to so many, and the memories she created with her loved ones will always hold a special place in their hearts.

Jenny was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jerry Geronimo Mora; her parents, Amado and Carmelita Gallegos; her son, Jerry Mora Jr.; her brother, Benny “Dimes” Gallegos; her sister, Nash Gonzales; and her grandchildren, Jessica Mora and Marquez Espinoza.

She is survived by her loving children: sons, Johnny Mora (Gloria), Alvin Mora (Teresa), Julian Mora (LaVerne), and Raymond Mora (Deborah); and daughters, Carmen Mora, Joann Mora, and Cruzita Mora. She also leaves behind 19 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren, along with extended family members and many dear friends who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts.

Jenny will be deeply missed and forever loved. Her life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and her love a gift that will remain in the hearts of her family and all who were fortunate enough to know her.

May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with those who went before her, and may her family find comfort in the beautiful legacy of love she leaves behind.

Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 6:00pm, funeral mass will be on Thursday, November 5, 2026, at 9:00am both services will be at  Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM. Burial of cremains will follow at San Jose Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM, Serving as urn bearers are Johnny Mora, Cruzita Mora, and Raymond Mora. The remaining members of the family will serve as honorary urn bearers.
