Jerome Alcon, 25, a resident of Mora, NM, went to rest with our Lord Jesus Christ on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. He was born in Las Vegas, NM, on October 27, 1997.

He is preceded in death by his Uncle Benjamin Vigil, Cousin Gabriel Quezada and Grandparents, Ernesto and Beatrice Alcon, Uncle Roy Lujan and Waldo Valdez.

He is survived by his mother, Leslie Vigil (Feliciano); brothers, Jacob and Jesse; father, Daniel Alcon; sister, Jaylyn; Grandparents, Charles and Lita Vigil; Godparents, Eli and Charlotte Duran; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was employed by Forte Security for over 5 years and loved working with his Uncle Kenny.

Jerome loved the outdoors, he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and looking for sheds with his friends. During winter months he loved skiing and snowboarding. Jerome spent time with his mom and brothers hitting the slopes, hiking, riding bikes, going to the movies, and eating out. He cared for his Grandpa Charlie and Grandma Lita by taking them to doctors' appointments, taking them shopping, and taking them out to eat. His free time was spent helping his Grandpa Charlie with wood, cleaning the yard, watching sports, and running errands in town. He was the son his Grandpa Charlie never had.

Rosary Services will be held on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at 6:00 pm and Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at 10:00 am at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Mora, NM with Father Paul Grala S.O.L.T. as celebrant and Father Dale Craig S.O.L.T. as con celebrant.

Interment will follow at the Lujan Family Cemetery off Encinal Road in Cleveland, NM. The following will serve as pallbearers, Kenny Gallegos, Ethan Garcia, Mario Martinez, Ana Moreno, Michael Varela, and Miguel Olivas. Honorary pallbearers, Jesse Alcon, Jacob Alcon, Jaylyn Alcon, Favian Lovato, Davian Lovato, and Ajalelei Kimbrell.
