Jessie Duran, 63, from Pecos, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on January 5, 2025. He was born on December 11, 1961, to Gloria Duran and the late Juan Duran Jr.

Jessie was widely known for his kind heart, infectious humor, and unwavering willingness to help others.

After graduating from high school, he pursued a successful career as a skilled painter. His greatest joy came from bringing smiles to others' faces, particularly through his devoted care and kindness toward his mother.

He was preceded in death by his father, Juan Duran Jr., and brother-in-law Adrian Quintana.

He leaves behind a loving family, including his mother, Gloria Duran; a daughter and granddaughter; and his goddaughter, Angel Gomez. His siblings include brothers Floyd (Pauline), Eddie Roy (Brenda Jo), Raymond (Brenda), and Richard, and sisters Mary, Diana (Bernie), Rosie (Adrian, deceased), and Christine (Ernest).

Visitation will begin at 9:00am and rosary will begin at 9:30am.A slideshow and eulogy will be presented from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, with the Resurrection Mass beginning at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 18, 2025 at St. Anthony Church in Pecos, NM with Abbott Aidan Gore as celebrant.

Interment will follow at the St. Anthony's Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers will be Mike, Liam, Eddie, Adrian, Ray, Kenny, Santiago, Joe, Rauly, and Richard, all of whom held a special place in his heart.

Known for his loving spirit, generosity, and memorable sense of humor, Jesse will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
