Joe D Madrid a resident of Guadalupita, NM passed away on January 10, 2026.

He was born on December 27, 1953 in La Junta, Colorado to Felix Madrid and Helen Quintana Madrid.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his older brother Felix Anthony Madrid.

He is survived by his sons Joe Madrid Jr. (Chrie), Andrew Madrid (Charlene),Matthew Madrid (Bernina), Dominic Madrid (Mindy), Stepdaughters Geraldine Paz (David), Stephanie Paz (Tim).    He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Gerard Madrid, Charles Madrid, as well as his sisters Sylvia Anaya (David), Julie Rodriguez, Louise Guererro (Ben), Valerie Pacheco (Jacobo) and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was employed by Gates Rubber Company and Continental Airlines in Denver Colorado, and later in Cleveland Ohio by United Airlines.  He retired and moved to Mora, NM.  Joe was a hardworking man working two jobs throughout his life. He enjoyed fishing, sports, and traveling.  He was an avid football fan and supported his Denver Broncos.

Services for Joe are pending and will be held at a later date in Denver, CO.
