Jose Arcenio "Archie" Archuleta

Jose Arcenio “Archie” Archuleta passed away peacefully on April 30, 2026. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cecilia Archuleta; his brother, Ralph Archuleta; his aunts, Natividad “Tillie” Archuleta, Alcaria Shrum, Condrada Apodaca, and Quirina Jaramillo; his uncles, Juan Archuleta and Jose Archuleta; his special cousin, Manuel Archuleta; and many other beloved cousins.

He is survived by his nieces and nephews; his cousins—Fabby Archuleta, Rick Archuleta, Audrene, Destiny, Kevin (Alicia) Dominguez, Adam (Antoinette) Villalva, and Sinfer Archuleta, Debbie (Adam), Robert, Rylee, and Roland Estrada. He is also survived by his caregivers, Rey Marrujo and Jenni Marrujo.

Archie faced many challenges throughout his life. He was born blind in one eye and had other disabilities. Unfortunately, later, he lost vision in both eyes and became hard of hearing. Because of these health challenges, he required full-time care. The family extends heartfelt thanks to Rey Marrujo and Jenni Marrujo for the love, support, and compassion they showed him. Their kindness was evident in the way they cared for him and loved him as a brother.

Cremation has taken place, Rosary will be recited at Rogers Mortuary on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. The Funeral Mass will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Jose Cemetery.
