Jose Manuel Chavez, age, 82 passed away on September 23, 2025.

He was born on March 10, 1943 to Paz and Guadalupe Chavez in Las Vegas, NM.

He is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.

He was a musician, everyone loved his music and he was jack of all trades.

Jose is survived by his son: Dennis Chavez (Felicia); lifelong partner: Jean Silva; grandchildren:5 great grandchildren: 12.

Rosary service will be recited on Monday, October 13, 2025 at 9:00am funeral mass will follow both services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers AJ Garcia, Adam Silva, Dennis Martin Chavez Jr., Molly Garcia, Deane Ortiz and Cesar Chavez.
