Jose Carlos Rodarte, 83 a resident of Las Vegas, NM, passed away on Wednesday, May 3, 2023.

He was born in Gascon, NM on April 1, 1940 to the late Jose and Susana Rodarte.

Jose was a Mayordomo for 10 years at Our Lady of Sorrows Church.

He is preceded in death by his wife: Corrine; son: Charles; great granddaughter: Aubreyann; brothers, sisters, nephews and nieces.

Jose is survived by his children: Carla Sanchez (John), Christy Rodarte (Isabel), Christina Rodarte and Clyde Rodarte; special grandson: Luis Gutierrez (Jamesha); grandchildren: Brandi Rodarte, Melissa Rodarte, Michael Jaramillo (Ebeny), Yvonne Jaramillo, Crystalrae Romero (Vince), Michael Rodarte, Joseph Jaramillo (Amanda) and Cassandra Rodriguez (Brandon); great grandchildren: Reina, Kalub, Mercedes, Alexandria, Abran, JohnCharles, Cheyenne, Raelene, and Amari; sister: Sadie Larson- Trujillo (Charlie); numerous: brother-in-law's, sister-in-law's, nephews and nieces; special four legged friends: Hershey bar and Xenala.

Cremation has taken place and rosary service will be conducted on Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 6:00pm. Funeral mass will be conducted on Monday May 22, 2023 at 9:00am with Father Agustin Henderson as celebrant both services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM.

Interment will follow at Rodarte Family cemetery in Gascon, NM.
