It is with great sadness that the family of Joseph "Patrick" Anthony announce his passing on June 7, 2025, at the age of 68. Patrick was born on August 13, 1956 to Clara Lucyl Lucero-Adkins and William Maurice Anthony in Rifle, Colorado. He spent his childhood years in the Mora Valley and then moved to Amarillo, Texas. Patrick became a custom wheat harvester with his stepfather, Ern Adkins and travelled all around the western United States. While on the harvest, Patrick mastered the mechanic trade. During that time, Patrick began his love of Mopar muscle cars. If you knew anything about him, you knew he loved Mopar's and his family. Patrick eventually moved back to the Mora Valley to raise his family. Patrick made many friends in his lifetime. You could count on him when you needed help working on your vehicle, looking for car parts or simply needed someone to talk to. You would normally find him in the garage tinkering with something. He had a funny sense of humor and a nickname for everyone.

Patrick is survived by his wife of 47 years, Rebecca (Bubba) Adkins; son Joseph (Gladstone) Adkins [Nichole]; daughter Deyhle (Duck) Adkins [Alex]; and daughter Sarah (Skeeter) Adkins; grandchildren: Josyah (Boo-Boo) Adkins; Estevan (Ester-bon) and Hayhle (Ladybug) Lara; Elicianna (Freska), Chloe (Clovis) and Travis (Micro-Midget) Jr Martinez; Brother Micheal Adkins and wife LaVonda; Uncle Metch; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and friends.

Patrick is preceded in death by his brother Donnie Adkins, mother Lucyl Adkins, Cousin Rod Cordova, brother "Lil Ern" Adkins II, and Stepfather Ern Adkins.

Rosary service will be recited on Monday, June 16, 2025 at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be on Tuesday, June 17, 2025 at 10:00am both services will be held at St. Gertrude Church in Mora, NM with Father Paul Grala S.O.L.T. as celebrant. Interment will follow at the Mora Cemetery in Mora, NM with the following serving as pallbearers: Josyah Adkins, Estevan Lara, Donny Adkins, Danny Garcia, Dennis Wagner, Adrian Lucero, Manuel Cordova, Randy "Animal" Romero, and Levi Alcon Serving as honorary pallbearers: Elicianna Martinez, Chloe Martinez, Hayhle Lara, Travis Martinez Jr, Demetrio Lucero, Michael Marez, James Adkins, Derek Adkins, Josiah Lopez, Dave Alcon and Adam Valdez.
