Joseph Warren
Carruth
October 30, 1971 – November 10, 2025
Joseph Warren Carruth was born October 30, 1971, in Pueblo, Colorado.
He began school in Alamosa and graduated from Sangre de Cristo High School in Mosca, Colorado, in 1990. During his high school years, he was the leading running back for 8-man football. Upon graduation, he entered the Navy as a fire control man.
After his military service, Joey was recruited to play football for Mesa State College in Grand Junction, Colorado. He studied business until he married.
In Grand Junction, he owned his own construction company until moving to Las Vegas, New Mexico, in 2010. After the death of his grandparents Joe and Evelyn Harris, he worked as foreman on the Harris Ranch. He died at the Harris Ranch home on November 10, 2025.
Joey is survived by his sons, Jaedon and Trystan Carruth of Grand Junction, Colorado; his mother, Gina Harris of Las Vegas, New Mexico; his father Floyd Carruth of Alamosa;; and his brothers Wayne of Grand Junction and Jeremy of Syracuse, Utah.
Funeral services will be at St. Paul Episcopal Church in Las Vegas, New Mexico, at 10 o'clock a.m. on December 6, 2025. Burial will be on Decemeber 8, 2025 at 10:00am at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
