Joshua O. Trujillo (Cha Cha) was born to Sue Gutierrez De La Cruz and Adauto (Stoney) Trujillo on May 15th 1982, and passed on August 8th 2026.
He is survived by his parents, son (Francisco Trujillo-Guiterrez), brother (Jody Trujillo), sister (Esther Trujillo-Peters), Nieces (Ciara Heise, Angelique Peters-Trujillo, Leona Peters), and Nephews (Spencer Trujillo, Raiden Trujillo, Antonio (AJ) Peters).
He will be joining his grandparents (Mary and Joe Gutierez and Carmen and Estevan Trujillo), His Brother (Ray Trujillo), several aunts, Uncles, and his sweet girl Lacy.
Joshua always put others before him. He loved helping people and chose many careers where he could do just that. Despite his health struggles for the past few years, he would always crack jokes and light up every situation he was in. He was the type of person who saw beauty in celebrating life. He would have wanted everyone to do the same for him and seek comfort knowing that he is at peace. As Joshua was the type of person to love and appreciate all things in life, the family does not feel that the traditional black clothing is necessary to mourn. Please feel free to go all out with the colors.
Rosary will be recited on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 6:00pm funeral mass will be held on at 9am Tuesday August 25th with both services to be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church. Interment will follow at St. Anthony Cemetery Joshua will be carried to rest by his loved ones Jody Trujillo, Joseph Oberoi, Anthony Peters, Joseph Sena, Spencer Trujillo, Damian Palomino, David Palomino, and Eugene Trujillo with honorary Pallbearers Francisco Trujillo-Gutierrez (Pancho/Kiko), Raiden Trujillo (Coronado), and Antonio Peters (Cheeseball).
For those that cannot attend in person there will be a live stream of the mass on Our Lady of Sorrows website and Facebook page. There will be a burial and lunch following the mass.
