Ms. Julie Mae Saiz was born on October 23, 1974, in Las Vegas, NM and passed away on December 3, 2024.

Julie grew up in Las Vegas, NM and currently resided in Taos, NM. Julie loved being outside in the mountains, fishing, camping, listening to music (especially the Scorpions), cooking, wearing red lipstick, going to bike rally's and most importantly spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by her mother Rita Garcia, her father Leroy Saiz, her son Fabian Mares, granddaughters, Amry and Eryn Mares, her sisters Annette and Flo, her brothers Mathew and Joe, her nephew Keith and nieces Simone, Leah, Mia, Maddie, Evie, Maya and Milani, and many more.

She is preceded in death by her grandmothers Maria Diaz Garcia and Josie Saiz and several others.

A Rosary for Julie will be held on Thursday, December 12, 2024, at 6:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, December 13, 2024, at 1:00 pm at Immaculate Conception Church followed by a celebration of life to be held at Trujillo's Lounge. Cremation will take place after services.
