Justin Fernandez, age 43, a resident of Las Vegas, NM, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2025.

He was born on August 4, 1982 in Las Vegas, NM to Mark Fernandez and Judy Velasquez.

He is preceded in death by his Maternal Grandmother; Marilyn Abeyta; Paternal Grandparents: Efraim and Virginia Fernandez.

Justin is survived by his Mother:  Judy Fernandez (Filbert); Father: Mark Fernandez (Jackie); Sister: Desiree Garza (Lucas), Nephew & Godson: Lucas Garza, nieces whom he loved as his own: Bella and Jenna Garza; Maternal Grandfather: Florencio Velasquez (Berna) Uncle: Glen Velasquez: Aunts: Kathie Fernandez & Glenda Fernandez (Albino). Numerous uncles, aunts, other relatives and many friends.

Rosary devotional services will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2026 at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Sorrows, Funeral mass to follow with Father Rob Yaksich/Father Sarfraz Alam as celebrants. Interment will follow at the St. Anthony's Cemetery in Las Vegas, NM, with the following serving as casket bearers: Lucas Garza, Glen Velasquez, Darren Velasquez, Albino Fernandez, Briana Brito, Filbert Lopez, Diego Lopez and Dave Lopez.
