JUSTIN ERIC SMITH

OCTOBER 28, 1994 – JUNE 20, 2024

Justin was born and raised in Las Vegas, NM. He passed away tragically and unexpectedly on June 20, 2024. Justin was a loving father, husband, son, grandson, brother, nephew, cousin and a dear friend to many.

Justin attended West Las Vegas Schools and graduated from Luna Community College with his GED. Justin worked many jobs but enjoyed the ones where he helped others the most. He was currently employed at Alta Vista Regional Hospital as a Security Officer.

Justin was a great, wonderful, and loving son and father to his only daughter, Hailie R. Smith. Justin was a loving, caring, soul who was willing to help anyone in need. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will be deeply missed and loved by the many lives he touched.

Justin is preceded in death by his Great Grand Parents Jose and Eufelia Romero, Luis and Rafelita Gonzales. Along with his grandfather Remigio Romero, great uncle Robert Romero, and step brother Michael Gallegos.

He is survived by his father Jason Smith Sr., mother Brenda Romero, brother Jason Smith Jr., his wife Stacy Romero and only daughter Hailie R. Smith, his grandmother's Oralia Romero and Virginia De La O, Clarence Romero, Melissa Romero (Chris Garcia), Amor Romero, Derek Fernandez, Jeremy Fernandez, Dominic Garcia, Bertha Esquibel, Frances and Jose Salazar, his closest friends Nathan Martinez (Jonnice Griego), RJ Marquez (Katie Frausto), Nickolas Maestas, and Karl Esquibel (Kayla Esquibel), and many other relatives and friends.

Recitation of the Most Holy Rosary with take place on July 2, 2024 at 6:00 PM the funeral mass will take place on July 3, 2024 @ 9:00 AM both at Our Lady of Sorrow's Church. Following the mass Justin will be laid to holy rest at Saint Anthony Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Clarence Romero, Chris Garcia, Derek Fernandez, Jeremy Fernandez, Nathan Martinez, and RJ Marquez.
