Kenneth Patrick Martinez 62, entered into eternal rest on July 18, 2024, surrounded by his Loving Family. Kenneth was born in Farmington, NM on May 26, 1962. Shortly after the family moved to Las Vegas, NM where would call home for the remainder of his life. Kenneth was a very charismatic individual with a keen wit and a great sense of humor. Kenneth was a very sharp dresser as everyone knew when going out in public or family gatherings. Kenneth was a standout athlete in his younger days competing in baseball, boxing and wrestling. Kenneth graduated from West Las Vegas high school, after graduation Kenneth worked various jobs, most notably being a car salesman, which also started his love for cars especially muscle, sport cars and luxury cars. He enjoyed working and tinkering with them even collecting a few of his own. Ken had the gift of gab as everyone who knew him would agree. But his greatest Pride and joy were his children and grandchildren who He Loved beyond words and life itself. Kenneth is preceded in death by his loving parents Ralph and Irene Martinez, his paternal grandparents Ralph and Florinda Martinez his maternal grandparents Felipe and Pablita (Polly) Bustos and special uncle Art Bustos and Sister-in-law Lucy Martinez. Kenneth is survived by his children and grandchildren which are his Greatest accomplishment and his Pride and Joy, Daughter Shalyn Perea and Son Kenneth Patrick, Jadon Martinez, Raquelle Martinez and Audrey Martinez grandchildren Michael Perea II, Noelle Perea, brothers and sisters, Debra Prado, Shelly Trujillo (Peter) Ralph Martinez and Jeff Martinez special uncle Marvin Bustos and several uncles and aunts, nephews and nieces, cousins and friends who loved him dearly. The recitation of the Most Holy Rosary will take place on Tuesday July 30th at 7:00 pm with the funeral mass Celebrating Kenneth's life on the following day July 31st at 9:00 am both will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows church 403 Valencia St. Las Vegas NM. Interment will follow at a later date with the following serving as pallbearers, Michael Perea II, Kenneth Patrick Martinez, Jeffry Martinez, Danny Bustos, Jadon Martinez and Marvin Bustos, Honorary Pallbearers, Noelle Perea and all his remaining Nephews and nieces.
