Our beloved parents, Kenneth (Mole) and Dina Thompson residents of Mora, NM were called home after thirty-two years of marriage. Mole, 71, passed away on December 3, 2022 and Dina, 68, followed her beloved husband in death only 20 days later on December 23,2022. They were both struggling with cancer for some time, but lived full and happy lives.

Mole was born on May 23,1951 in Maryland to Bernard Thompson and Katherine Peverinni. Mole loved the outdoors, whether it was fishing, hiking, working on his old Ford, and his favorite going for wood. He loved being in the mountain cutting wood and was the best at sharpening a chainsaw. He was loved by many and would go out of his way to help anyone. Dina was born on October 6, 1954 in Texas to William Edwards and Enid Armstrong. Dina enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and fishing with her husband. She loved babysitting her grandsons and going to town, for as she would call it, "a cruise." She was loved by many and you knew where she was her husband or children were always with her. As a couple, Mole and Dina were inseparable. Mole hitchhiked from Maryland to New Mexico to live out his dream of building a cabin in the mountains and met Dina in Texas while working on the oil rigs to make money to buy land in the mountains of Mora, NM. He did build his cabin, where they lived for many years and raised their children.

They are survived by their children, Sara Villa and husband Aaron Villa and Arron Thompson; their grandchildren Aaron Villa Jr and Cash Villa; their brothers Bernie Thompson, Kirk Thompson, John Thompson, Jim Thompson, Richard Edwards, Robert Edwards, and Forest Edwards; their sisters Kathy Pierce, Tennette Arnold, and Shirley Hancock; numerous: nieces, nephews, and cousins. They are predeceased by their parents; brother Fred Edwards; and sister Lula.

Interment will follow at a later date.
