Leo L. Gallegos, of Las Vegas passed away on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

He was born in Las Vegas New Mexico on February 2, 1945, to Arthur Gallegos and Laura Gallegos.

He was preceded in death by his parents, youngest daughter Josette Gallegos and his brother Arthur Gallegos.

Leo is survived by wife Jane Gallegos; his sons Leroy Gallegos, Steven Gallegos, Bryan Gallegos, Miguel Gallegos and daughter Loretta Gallegos; his brothers Donald Gallegos, Robert Gallegos and Leonard Gallegos; sister's Joan Archuleta and Loretta Sturam and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was known for his involvement in the church as a lecturer, mayordomo and more. Leo was very involved in his community as a volunteer firefighter, a boxing coach, baseball coach and businessman. He loved his family dearly and cherished family gatherings. He retired as a hospital administrator for NMBHI and was involved in business and politics. A private service will be held with family and friends.
