Leona Lee Martinez gained her wings on February 5, 2025, surrounded by her family.  Leona was born October 9, 1975, in Las Vegas, New Mexico to Joann and Joe Robert (Bobby) Martinez.

She is survived by her mother and father, Joan and Robert Martinez; her three daughters Faith and Melanie Garcia, Amberlynn Contreras; her two sons, Greyson & Jason Martinez; brother, Dwayne (Sandra) Martinez; her granddaughter, Mercy Contreras; her aunt, Ida Yack; cousins, Jessica & Jazmine Clark and numerous cousins and family members.

Leona was a lifelong resident of Las Vegas. She was a loving and devoted mother to her 5 children, a stay-at-home mom who adored her kids.  Leona had a wild side to her loving motorcycle rides and being on the open road. She loved being with her friends and family, crafts and holidays; she loved to decorate.  She enjoyed being goofy making others laugh and feel good.  She was a loyal mother, daughter, sister and friend to all who will be greatly missed.

A Memorial Service will take place on Monday, February, 10, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Rogers Mortuary Chapel in Las Vegas, NM.
