It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father, husband, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, Leopoldo "Paul" Jaramillo Sr., age 82 on December 15, 2025.
Following a devastating illness. Paul was a great man; whose kindness and willingness to help others left a lasting impression on everyone He was known in the barrio Chiveroz, where he grew up as Tio Paul He had a body shop there and he taught everyone about body work and painting cars. He loved hunting and enjoyed every minute of it, and looking for arrowheads, drag racing, and he enjoyed the casino. He also served in the Army National Guard reserves and is a veteran. He loved Corrido de Cabillos from Lorenzo Antonio. He enjoyed his life to the fullest.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Gloria Thurman Jaramillo, Parents, Nickholas and Veronica Jaramillo, daughters Paula Jaramillo and Robin Thurman sons Ernest Jaramillo and Raymond" Razer Ray" Jaramillo sisters Sophie Jaramillo, "Dulce Nayea Padilla, Rose Lopez, and brother Nickolas Jaramillo Jr.
He is survived by his daughters Veronica Jaramillo and son in law Michael Arguello, Milagro Jaramillo, Pauline Padilla sons Leopoldo " Polito Jaramillo and fiancé Margaret Hernandez, and step son Adam Lopez. Sisters Doloras Miller, Connie Jaramillo, Maybel Jaramillo and Diane Dimas. Granddaughters Jasmine and Sophia Vigil, Marisol Jaramillo, Angel, Ashley, Mary, Rosanna, grandsons Joseph Ray Vigil, Wedo, Steven, Mikey Jaramillo and lots more grandsons, granddaughters, and great great grandchildren.
Service will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows church at 9:00a.m on December 31, 2025 following burial in Chacon NM following a meal at the VFW at 1:00p.m in Las Vegas NM.
