Leroy G. "Brujo" Sena 67, passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Christus St. Vincent Hospital in Santa Fe, NM.
He was born on August 5, 1947 in Las Vegas, NM to the late Samuel Sena and Estefanita Maestas- Sena.
He was united in marriage on July 11, 1975 to Mary Ann Johns in Las Vegas, NM.
He was a Vietnam Veteran, a member of the American Legion, a biker and worked for Thornton High School as a Interpreter and Campus Supervisor for 10 years.
He was preceded in death by Samuel and Estefanita Sena; Ralph Sena; Jimmy Sena; Leonard Sena; Jose Trevino Maestas and many other loved ones.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Ann Sena; children: Leroy JR., "Pancho" Sena; Anna Pacheco; Carla Romero; Gilbert DeLao; Cynthiaa Sena; Chavela Sena Sanchez; Angelo Sena; Amanda "Mouse" Sena; sisters: Dorothy Trujillo; Jane Lacrue and Mary Vigil numerous: grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A Memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at 1:00pm at Rogers Chapel in Las Vegas, NM with Father George V. Salazar as Celebrant and Monday, June 2, 2014 at 10:30am at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home 3101 S Wadsworth Blvd Lakewood, CO 80227. Interment will follow at 12:00 noon at Ft. Logan National Cemetery in Denver, Colorado with the following serving as Casket Bearers: Angelo Sena, Michael Johns, Gary Johns, Edward Pacheco, Jason Garcia and Frank Sanchez.
