Leroy R. Hernandez, a longtime resident of Moriarty, NM passed away on April 19, 2023. He is preceded in death by his parents Manuel Hernandez and Mary Ruiz. Leroy is survived by his wife Henrietta Gonzales, daughters Tasha and Ashley Hernandez, brothers Richard Hernandez, Daniel Hernandez, Bobby Hernandez, Humer Hernandez, Sammy Hernandez and sister Sue Hernandez.

Leroy was a plumber for 30+ years and enjoyed what he did. In his spare time he loved working outside and playing on his backhoe.

Services for Leroy R. Hernandez will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023 beginning with a rosary at 9:30am at Santa Teresita Church in Gonzales Ranch, NM. Funeral service will begin immediately after with Father Moses Nwankwo as celebrant.

Interment will be at San Isidro Cemetery in Gonzales Ranch, NM with the following serving as Pallbearers will be Phillip Gonzales, Alex Shrek, Michael Shrek, Daniel Hernandez, David Hernandez and LouAnna Hernandez
