Lidoro Valdez 98 of Ojo Feliz, New Mexico passed away surrounded by family at his home on November 14, 2025. He was born on July 24, 1927 to Benigno and Victoria Valdez in Ojo Feliz

Lidoro proudly served in the US Army during WWII. After his honorable discharge in 1947, he spent his time traveling and received training as a body and fender technician. When he returned home, he spent the remainder of his working years as a heavy equipment operator in the road construction field.

He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters: Andre and Delfinia, brothers: Bernardino, Floyd and Manuel, son Michael, daughter Luana, his beloved wife of 67 years Louella and his cats Princess and Tinder.

Lidoro is survived by sons Gary and Robert & wife Naomi, brother Emilio, grandchildren Audri & husband James, James Jr & Tammy and Matthew, great grandchildren Ke'Arlen, Miracle, J'Quoen, Malachi, Accalia, Jeremyah, Atheina, Jaiden, Jour'nee and Kinlei, great-great grandchildren Brynlee and Aries. He is also survived by brothers and sisters-in law Lorenzo, Matthew, Telesfor, Gabriel, Jean & Peter, Diana & Sergio, Edwina & Paul, Elizabeth and Louise, special niece Patricia and husband Michael, as well as many other nieces, nephews and friends

A viewing will be held at 10AM, funeral services will begin at 11AM at the Church of Christ in Ojo Feliz with burial following immediately at Ojo Feliz Church of Christ Cemetery, on Friday, November 21, 2025. Pastor Jesse Ortiz will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers will be Michael Marrujo, Francisco Montoya, Ty Valdez, Tim Valdez, James Jr. Valdez and Eric Archuleta.
