Lily Baca, age 88, a lifelong resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away January 31, 2023. Lily was born in La Junta, CO on November 11, 1934.

She was united in marriage to the love of her life Enriquez Baca on February 2, 1952 in Raton, NM. She was a homemaker and raised her eight children. She enjoyed spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, being with her husband, listening to Spanish music, dancing, and making homemade tortillas.

She is preceded in death by her husband Enriquez Baca parents Juan and Juanita Maes, brother Louie Maes, sisters Virginia and Eleanor Whatley.

She is survived by her children Lucy Romero, Marcy Aguilar, Kenneth (Kathy) Baca, Diana Baca, Theresa Baca, Leroy Baca (Julie Martinez), Raymond (Hazel) Baca, Anselmo Baca (Jenette Lucero), 24 grandkids, 56 great grandkids, 9 great great grandkids, sisters Rosella Abeyta, Beatrice (Jr) Madrid, numerous nieces, nephews, and relatives.

Pastor officiating services will be Pastor Ray Rubi at the Las Vegas Christian Center 2501 Ridge Runner Rd on February 10, 2023 at 11:00am burial will follow at the Villanueva Cemetery in Villanueva, NM. Serving as pallbearers are grandsons Isaiah Baca, Uriah Baca, Timo Montano, Mark Baca, great grandsons Andrew Romero, and Dimitri Romero. Serving as honorary pallbearers are all her grand children and great grand children.
