Linda Mae Archuleta Vigil, age 31, a lifetime resident of Las Vegas, New Mexico and resident of Santa Fe, NM for the past 5 years passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014 in Santa Fe, NM.
She was born in Las Vegas, NM to Marvin D. Archuleta, Sr., and Lorraine Erlinda Martinez.
She was a beloved daughter, granddaughter, mother, sister, wife and friend who has been called home to be with the Lord. Linda was a bright and intelligent young woman who attended school at Luna Community College. She also worked for San Miguel County Detention Center and the Santa Fe Detention Center. Linda's life was much to brief but walks beside the Lord.
A lifelong Catholic, she was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Marvin D. Archuleta Sr., and Lorraine Erlinda Martinez; paternal-grandmother: Rose M. Archuleta; nephews: Stevie Rey and Antonio Casey. She is survived by her husband: Steve Vigil of Santa Fe, NM; daughters :Katelynn Vigil and Lorraine Vigil; brothers and Sisters: Marvin Archuleta and wife Sharon Laura Archuleta and boyfriend Casey Jaramillo , Peter Archuleta all of Las Vegas, NM; maternal grandparents: Porfilio and Mabel Martinez of Tecolote, NM; Paternal grandfather: Tony Archuleta of Las Vegas, NM; aunts and uncles: Mary Lou Archuleta of Las Vegas, NM; Esther Salazar and husband Michael of Santa Rosa, NM; Virginia Roybal and husband Rudy of California; Anthony Archuleta and wife Rose of Las Vegas, NM; Carlos Martinez and Merlinda Martinez both of Tecolote, NM; numerous: nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends..
Rosary services will be conducted on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at 9:00 am at Immaculate Conception Church in Las Vegas, NM with Funeral services following the Rosary with Father George V. Salazar as Celebrant. Interment will follow at Tecolote Cemetery in Tecolote, NM with the following serving as Casket Bearers: Casey Jaramillo, Anthony Archuleta, Marvin Archuleta, Kenneth Archuleta, Peter Archuleta and Michael Salazar.
