We are saddened to announce the passing of Linda Mae Susan Gallegos, age 60, born on August 15th, 1962 in Santa Rosa, NM and in her youth relocated to Las Vegas, NM where she built the life she loved. She was called home on December 3rd, 2022 while in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born to the late Amelia and David Garcia.

Linda was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. Those of you who knew her, knew that she was kind hearted and very giving. She impacted many lives with her inspiring words and her great sense of humor. Her presence could light up a room and provide an immense sense of comfort. She enjoyed a lifelong career as a Dental assistance and recently retired. She enjoyed time riding the Harley with her lifelong partner and husband Marvin. They created unforgettable memories riding around the state and spent precious and irreplaceable time with their children and grandchildren; The unconditional love she had for her them is an inspiration to all. Linda will be greatly missed and forever loved.

She is preceded in death by her parents: Amelia and David Garcia; sister: Doris Diane Solano. She is survived by her husband of 47 years: Marvin Gallegos; Children: Marvin "Jerry" Gallegos (Samantha); Marvella "Monica" Gallegos (Leo); Brittany Gallegos (Jeffery); Grandchildren: Troy Gallegos (Tara); Miranda Lujan; Alandra Vigil; Landen Vigil; Christobal "Pano" Jaramillo; Kimberly Gallegos; Juanito Gallegos; Jeffrey Jr. Gallegos; Sisters: Anna Garcia; Rosa Bella Gonzales. Special nieces: Lynnsey Vigil; Valerie Sanchez. Special nephews: Leonard Lucero; Timothy Garcia; Many other amazing family and friends.

Funeral services will take place on December 8th, 2022 at 10:00 am at the Las Vegas Christian Center at 2501 Ridge Runner Rd. Las Vegas, NM. Immediately following the services, we will be gathering at the Elk Lodge at 2305 Collins Dr. Las Vegas NM. Cremation has taken place and her remains will be laid to rest during the picturesque blooming Spring time at St. Anthony's cemetery (date will later be determined by family and announced for those who would like to attend). Urn bearers will be Marvin "Jerry" Gallegos; Monica Gallegos; Brittany Gallegos. Honorary Urn Bears will be Leonard Lucero and Lynnsey Vigil.
