Lorenzo "Jr" Lucero, age 43, born in Las Vegas, New Mexico passed away July 1,2025 with family alongside him. Jr was a beloved son, husband, father, brother, grandfather, and friend who's presence will be deeply missed. Jr had a heart full of love and a spirit full of energy and laughter. He loved his wife Tami, his children and grandchildren very much, they were his joy in life. Jr lived his life to the fullest, he loved the outdoors weather it was fishing, riding horses or his motorcycle with friends, but more recently it was spending time with his 3 grandchildren. Jr was employed with Franken Construction for 24 years, starting right after graduating from Santa Rosa High.
Jr is preceded in death by his father Lawrence "Roy" Lucero, Sister Nicole Lucero, grandfathers David Lucero and Placido Quintana, Uncle Daniel "Dan" Quintana, his closest friend Ernie Vigil, and the mother of his 3 eldest children Veronica Garcia.
Lorenzo "Jr" Lucero leaves behind his Wife: Tami Lucero, Mother: Elizabeth Lucero (Danny Ortiz), Children: Desiree Lucero (Hector Mejia), Daisha Lucero (Joe Lucero), Dominic Lucero, Dylan Lucero, Derrick Dominguez, and Roy Sena. His brother: Jonathan Lucero (Tara Lucero). Step children: Isaiah Dominguez and Aisha Dominguez. His Grandchildren: Brooklyn, Luciano, and Kaliyah Mejia. Nieces: Nevaeh Lucero and Kiara Sanchez. Along with his mother in Law: Yolanda Yeaman, Other In-laws: Stella Crespin, Francine Jaramillo (Adrian), Lori Yeaman (Faith), and Debra Gage, Grandmothers: Helena Quintana and Rosa Lucero.

Rosary service will be recited on Tuesday, July 8, 2025 at 6:00pm.Funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday, July 9, 2025 at 10:00am both services will be held at St. Joseph Church in Anton Chico, NM with Deacon Marvin Marquez. Interment will follow at Tecolotito Cemetery in Tecolotito, NM with the following serving as Pallbearers Bearers: Jonathan Lucero, Dominic Lucero, Dylan Lucero, Hector Mejia, Albert Sanchez, and BJ Pacheco. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Danny Ortiz, Derrick Dominguez, and Roy Sena.
Arrangements are entrusted to and under the care of Rogers Mortuary 600 Reynolds Ave Las Vegas, NM.
