Louise Salazar, 80 of Las Vegas, NM passed away unexpectedly on Friday, March 5, 2021.

Louise was born on March 23, 1940 in Las Vegas, NM to Isidro and Lena Berniger.

She was married to Jose C. Salazar and they had five children.

She is survived by her children: Jose Salazar and wife Frances of Las Vegas, NM, Lucy Salazar of Santa Fe, NM, Denise Daniel husband Mike of Durango, CO; Dedrea Vigil and husband Dennis of Albuquerque, NM and Michael Salazar and wife Josie of Las Vegas, NM; 9 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sisters: Alice Wicks and Gregoria Berniger both of Albuquerque, NM.

Funeral mass will be held on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at 10:00AM at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Las Vegas, NM with James Stewart as officiant. Due to Covid 19 masks must be worn.

Interment will follow at Masonic Cemetery with the following serving as Pallbearers Jose Salazar, Michael Salazar, Michael J. Salazar, Estevan Salazar, Nicholas Salazar and Mike Daniel.
