Lucas Martinez went to join his heavenly father on June 15th 2023, his rosary service will be at Rogers Mortuary at 7:00 P.M. on Thursday June 29th with his funeral service to follow the next day at 9:30 at Our Lady of Sorrows.  He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Ted Martinez and his maternal grandparents Mercedes and Joseph Roybal.  He is survived by his daughter Savanna Worthington (Cody) and amazing grandson Arbor, his mother Delma Martinez, his sister Mercedes Martinez (Brandon), his nieces Destanie Dettmann(Cody), Mya Martinez, his grandparents Jose and Mary Martinez, countless aunts, uncles and cousins.

Lucas will always be remembered for his charming smirk and great sense of humor.  As kids he spent hours playing in the countryside, riding threewheelers, and playing in the river with his sister and cousin Justina while he spent the summers with his grandparents, whom he loved very much.  In high school he was always dressed sharp, smelled good and like to cruise in his Monte Carlo and Trans AM.  He also loved to hang out with his two cousins closest in age, Rocky and Chance.  He loved all things sports, especially basketball.  Every year he would make a bet with his grandma Mary on the Super Bowl and sometimes she even won.  He loved and cared for all animals.  He will be greatly missed by all his family and especially those closest to him.

He will be laid to rest in upper Rociada in the family cemetery with his father Ted.
