Madeline Sanchez age, 72, a resident of Las Vegas, NM passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family.

She was born April 1, 1951 in Las Vegas, NM to Felix Trimarco and Frutosa Palomino.

Madeline enjoyed her Spanish music and watching novellas with her daughter Angela. Madeline loved cooking for her family and spending time with her kids and grandchildren. She loved all her grandchildren, but she did have a special place in her heart for Alex Pacheco and Jordan Pacheco they were with her daily and helped care for her when she no longer could care for herself, another grandchild she held close to her heart was Andrew Jr. he kept her on her toes. These three grandsons were her "best friends".

Madeline worked many years for Southwest Senior Care where she retired as a dietary aid, and she didn't retire there she went off to work for El Sombrero for many years where she built a strong relationship with the owner Helen Rivera and her children Sarah, Torrey and Victor,Madeline considered them family. Madeline also had a very great friend Carla O Niel they grew up together since toddler years. Madeline had many that she loved and loved her and became family. She took in Antoinette Lopez as her bonus daughter Antoinette helped care for Madeline for many years. Madeline and her daughter Angela were best friends, they did everything together, went everywhere together they were never apart from each other. Angela and her husband BJ cared for Madeline for many years through her battle of illness they stood by her until the very end.

Madeline is preceded in death by her parents: Felix Trimarco and Frutosa Palomino; son: Alfred Sanchez; late husband: Alfredo Sanchez; brother: Christy Russell; uncle: Ignacio Palomino; aunt: Eloysa Gonzales; grandson: Anthony Sanchez; granddaughter: Amanda Martinez.

She is survived by her children: Angela Pacheco (BJ), Albert Sanchez (Bernadette), Andrew Sanchez, Julie Quintana and Mary Chavez (Ray); sister: Rose Muniz (Raymond); brothers: Richard Russell and Anthony Russell; sister-in-law: Tomasita Romero; grandchildren: Alex Pacheco, Jordan Pacheco, Natasha Pacheco, Arlena Pacheco, Isaiah Sanchez, Elijah Sanchez, William Lopez, Savannah Sanchez, Jasmin Sanchez, Andrew Sanchez Jr., Eloysa Lopez Johnni Sanchez, Albert Sanchez Jr., Deanna Sanchez, Samantha Urruita, Miguel Martinez, Daniel Chavez and Charlene Chavez; special cousin: Kathy Goodson; numerous: nieces, nephews and friends.

The Sanchez and Pacheco Family would like to thank the staff at Amber Care for all their support and assistance. We want to thank Dr. Jesus Tafoya for his service in all the yeas that he cared for Madeline. We give thanks to all the out pour of love and prayers sent.

Rosary services will be recited on Monday, May 1, 2023 at 7:00pm. Funeral mass will be conducted on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at 9:00 am with Father Rob Yaksich as celebrant both services will be held at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Las Vegas, NM.

Pallbearers will be BJ Pacheco, Angela Pacheco, Andrew Sanchez, Albert Sanchez, Isaiah Sanchez, Elijah Sanchez, Julie Quintana and Alex Pacheco.

Cremation will take place after services and burial will be at a later date.
