Margarito Phillip Romero age 84, was born on July 26, 1938, a resident of Cleveland, New Mexico passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 and is with our Lord in Heaven. He loved fishing, hunting, going for wood, joking around and telling past life stories.

He is preceded in death by his parents: Antonio and Susanna Romero; sisters: Nieves Gonzales, Amables Romero; brothers: Edwardo, Ramon, Antonio (Tony) and David Romero; sons: Martin and Phillip Romero.

Margarito is survived by his sons: Louis Romero (Chelsea), Angelo Romero (Danielle) and Mario Romero (Seferina); grandchildren: Phillip Perry, Erica Martinez, Jeremy Romero, Joshua Romero, Marcus Romero, Mario Romero, Brittany Romero, Tomas Romero, Stephanie Romero, Tristan Romero, Rocket Romero and Joseph Romero; sisters: Martha Sandoval, Anna Duran and Ida Montoya; numerous: nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Rosary will be recited on Friday, May 12, 2023 at 9:30am, funeral mass to follow with Father Paul Grala S.O.L.T. at St. Gertrude Church in Mora, New Mexico.

Cremation has taken place and Interment will follow at San Antonio Cemetery in Cleveland, New Mexico.
